Background

Interior Architect (Turkey) with professional experience since 2016 and co-founder of nornwork, which was established in 2019. Besides that, I have primarily worked within design teams (Gonye Project Design, Statu Interiors and Projects), focusing on concept development, spatial organisation, and architectural strategy across residential, commercial, hospitality and retail projects. My role has centred on generating design ideas, refining spatial narratives and contributing to the overall architectural vision.

I have participated in national and international competitions through nornwork. Adapting to different standards, building techniques, and client or competition briefs has gradually shaped my understanding of diverse design approaches.

While my main focus has been on the design phase, I have gained general awareness of technical processes and site coordination through team collaboration. This has helped me understand how conceptual decisions influence later project stages.

Currently in the second year of the Master of Architecture (Professional) programme at Unitec Institute of Technology, I am expanding my perspective in architectural and intellectual contexts through academic research and cross-cultural engagement.

I integrate digital tools into my workflow, including modelling techniques, AI-assisted design explorations, and VR technologies. For this reason, I am willing to invest additional time in learning software and developing my technical skills whenever required.
